Apacer Launches AS2280P2 M.2 PCIe Gen 3 x2 SSD

AS2280P2 is a M.2 PCIe SSD equipped with the latest 3D NAND Flash technology, significantly improving its capacity by stacking. Outperforming with up to 1650/1000 MB/s for read and write, AS2280P2 is designed for the needs of gamers and much more.

Apacer AS2280P2 comes in a M.2 2280 form factor, is compliant with NVMe 1.2 specifications, and offers capacities of 120GB, 240GB and 480GB. The sequential read/write speeds are up to 1650/1000MB, with up to 92,160 IOPS in random read/write, which is sufficient to manage data-intensive applications. AS2280P2 is also built with excellent heat dissipation to ensure its stability during long operations.

The TLC written NAND shows this in performance:

Sustained Read Performance

120GB:up to 1550 MB/s
240GB:up to 1650 MB/s
480GB:up to 1650 MB/s

Sustained Write Performance

120GB:up to 530 MB/s
240GB:up to 950 MB/s
480GB:up to 1000 MB/s

As a compactly designed SSD, AS2280P2 delivers uncompromising performance through several value adding technologies such as 72bit/1KB error correction code (ECC), global wear-leveling for fortified SSD life, and SmartRefresh for maintaining accuracy and safety of data access. Last but not least, the S.M.A.R.T which is deployed with Apacer’s  SSD Widget to monitor the SSDs, ensures smooth performances. This M.2 PCle SSD is truly a remarkable memory solution accessible to everyone for astonishing value.

Apacer provides an extensive array of M.2 Products for Ultrabooks, gaming computers, embedded systems, and IoT applications. Due to its compact size, it allows space for other installations, such as graphics cards and heat sinks. The flagship model Z280 is produced by 2D/3D MLC and adopts the high speed of PCIe Gen 3 x4 interface, reaching up to 2750/1500 MB/s for read and write. On top of that, there is the AS2280 for adrenaline junkies who are more addicted to performance, while those looking for value for money will love the AST280. In Apacer M.2 family, you can effortlessly choose your favorite M.2 products for your various applications. Prices are TBA.
