With an ultra-thin aluminum heat sink, it lowers the temperature of the SSD by up to 25%. As a result, it is feasible to reduce component degradation caused by heat while simultaneously inhibiting thermal throttling. Additionally, it includes global wear leveling, Smart ECC, and end-to-end data security. NAND flash memory is 3D NAND, with sequential read speeds of up to 3,500MB / sec, write speeds of up to 3,000MB / sec, and random write speeds of up to 360,000 IOPS. The mean time between failures is 1.5 million hours, and the device is covered by a five-year warranty. External dimensions are 22 mm in width, 80 mm in depth, and 2.25 mm in height. As an alternative, the "AS2280P4U" variant is also available without the heat sink.
