Seems to be a bit misleading (maybe).
It is 60Hz max (backed up by only having HDMI not Dual DVI), yet its a 3D display and they claim "this 27-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution".
Its not possible to do 3D gaming at 60Hz, full 1080p res per eye, this requires a 120Hz display.

If its line interleaved with polarised glasses, it can do 1/2 1080p res at 60hz per eye, but thats not the claimed "1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution".
This is what I am using with an LG display and its not bad (easy on gfx card power requirements, low ghosting, easy to use, no batteries, light weight glasses), but its not full res 1080p for 3D.

From the statement that they supply clip on glasses, it looks like this is line interleaved 1/2 1080p with polarised glasses.
They dont mention that anywhere!
i wish they would be fully open and honest from the start.

There is one possibility which would make this a blindingly good 3D display.
If it is actually double 1080p res, line interleaved, this would give full 1080p @ 60Hz per eye.
But I'm sure marketing would have jumped on that, and I would be saving up right now!
But this requires better than HDMI, unless there is a new HDMI standard in use?

ps the price is good for what it is though.

Display Port?

What I really don't understand, for PC we have DP (Display Port) already capable even 4K Ultra HD in 3D @ 60Hz.

And new pc monitors are released still in HD at a time tablets have bigger resolution and Linus Thorwalds wants 2560 x 1600 as standard resolution for notebooks ....

Should this monitor be aimed for multi monitor users, I miss the VESA mount ...

PS: For those interested, there will be a new HDMI standard finalized somewhen in 2013 with similar reates of DP. Monitors with this will come out maybe late 2014 or 2015 ...

Theres very little market for expensive higher res displays, especially during recession.
Blu Ray is 1080p and there is no broadcast video higher than 1080.
Gaming at higher than 1080p needs the faster video cards or 2 of them for a lot of titles.

Rev. 1.4 of the HDMI standard added support for higher resolutions and refresh rates. Adoption rate has been slow though, because precious few devices need it.

Yep understand that, not sure if any graphics cards even support it yet.
The use of clip on glasses more or less confirms its line interleaved polarised 1/2 res.
