AOC Launches new G2 series gaming monitors
AOC, a leader in the gaming monitor market, will present its extensive portfolio including the new G2 Series gaming monitors with their new 24G2U, de 27G2U and curved CQ27G2.
The 24G2U and 27G2U are 1920x1080 pixels where the CQ27G2 gets a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels. These models of the G2 series all get a higher refresh rate of 144 Hz, in addition to a response time of 1 ms. The monitors have an AMD FreeSync label. AOC has not yet communicated precise specs or any prices let alone availability.

Among many other premium models presented by AOC at gamescom this year, the stars of the show are three brand-new AOC gaming monitors from the G2 Series. The new models will be available to all visitors to see and experience first-hand at their European debut. All three models, the 24G2U (24”), 27G2U (27”) and the curved CQ27G2 (27”) come with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 1ms MPRT (Moving Picture Response Time), FHD (1920x1080 pixels) or, in the case of the CQ27G2, QHD (2560x1440 pixels) resolution and AMD FreeSync, bringing with it a smooth gameplay experience.

At this year’s booth, AOC will show they have a fitting monitor, no matter your game. Visitors will be able to try out all models, such as AOC’s curved 27” QHD flagship AGON AG273QCG. Action, racing or shooter game optimised displays, such as the 27” VA panel AGON AG273QCX, 27” FreeSync QHD AGON AG271QX or 27” FreeSync2 AGON AG272FCX6 guarantee stutter-free movement on screen with frequencies ranging between 144 and 165 Hz. For any type of highly competitive gaming, the hyper fast 240 Hz AGON AG251FZ is an ambitious player’s best bet. An Adaptive-Sync driver and 1 ms response time eliminate distortions to get you ahead of the competition. For those who want to dive into virtual worlds, the ultrawide 35” curved beast AGON AG352UCG6, boasting G-Sync and WQHD, will draw any gamer into their game environment especially with its impressive picture quality. The fans of the G2 Esports team will also have a chance to try out the G2 Esports branded 24.5” 144 Hz G2590PX/G2 monitor.
For console players, the displays of AOC’s partner Philips are ready to shine their way into visitors' hearts with an exceptionally smooth console gaming experience, sleek designs and popular games on offer.
On stage entertainment with meetups
AOC and Philips will display their products in hall 10.1, booth A-080. The booth will also have a dedicated area for the G2 Esports team, where fans will get the chance to meet and greet Lothar and Orb, as well as the Rainbow Six Siege team. Additionally, AOC invited Hertha BSC esports athletes, and some secret special guests from the German influencer scene. With selfies and signing sessions, fans will not only be able to interact with their heroes but also challenge them in fun games on stage.
