AOC launches C4008VU8 40-inch curved 4K UHD Monitor with 10-Bit color

It's a big one alright. At 40 inches AOC now made the C4008VU8 available, this curved monitor features 10-bit color, making it a nice offering for professionals. it has thin bezels and a nice looking design. 

The monitor with curved VA panel has a 3840x2160 resolution that boasts 1.07 billion colors, meaning the panel can present more depth and richer color to produce more vibrant images. VA is ideal for graphic designing, video editing or photo retouching. The C4008VU8 features a 60Hz refresh rate, wide-viewing angles and 5ms response time," says AOC.

No professional needs curvature. In fact, it screws up anything rectangular, from print media to tv to film to...

It's purely a gimmick for suckers with too much money and too little knowledge so they'll pay more for what is becoming truly ancient end-of-life LCD-based tech.

Such a weird display. Don't see what the point is. Curve is worthless for design, and 60hz is worthless for gaming.

Who are they designing this for I wonder..?
