AOC Launches 90 Series Pro - five new IPS Monitors

AOC Launches 90 Series Pro - five new IPS Monitors

AOC today send around a press release indicating that they launch five new IPS monitors with thin bezels. The magic five are all IPS based and hare sized 23.8 up-to 27 Inches. The first four models are 1920x1080, the 27" model is a 2560x1440 resolution display.

The 90 Series Pro carries that Pro bradning as the monitors are intended for the business market. At the upper and left/right sidez the edges are thin. All 90 Series can manage the complete sRGB color space and have built in speakers.

Thanks to the almost invisible bezels on the sides, they are a perfect fit for seamless multi-monitor setups. Two or even more of these displays side-by-side offer a considerable boost in desktop space, which in turn can help increase productivity. The more affordable I2490VXQ and I2790VQ come equipped with a basic stand, whereas the I2490PXQU, I2790PQU and the Q2790PQU are fitted with an ergonomically adjustable stand, which can be easily detached without a screwdriver.

A range of options including 130 mm height adjustment, -5°/+25° tilt, ‑165°/+165° swivel and 90° rotation (pivot) ensure a high level of working comfort suited to each user’s individual needs. All 90 Series models use advanced IPS panels for wide viewing angles and high colour accuracy. With a colour space coverage of 100% sRGB and 90% NTSC, these monitors offer accurate colours at any viewing angle (up to 178°). The flagship model Q2790PQU comes with a QHD panel (2560 x 1440 pixels), which can show four 720p video streams at once. The other four models are equipped with Full HD panels (1920 x 1080 pixels). The PQU/PXQU models have build in USB 3.0 HUB.

Couldn't be more satisfied with my Q2778VQP QHD... ;) Won't hesitate to look up AoC next time around--fantastic value--the very best buy I found through extensive searching.

AOC still exists? Back in the day, it had reputation of utter crap as far as I can remember.
