AOC China announced a new large format gaming display to their product lineup. With a 43-inch screen and a 3840 x 2160 "4K" resolution paired with a 144Hz refresh rate, the G4309VX/D stands out from the crowd.

Aside from that, it has a high contrast ratio thanks to its VA technology screen and has been certified to the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 level of performance. The screen has a VA technology panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, according to the specifications. Among its many features are a 1ms MPRT speed, 4000:1 contrast ratio, 720 cd/m2 brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, an 8-bit+FRC color depth, and an extremely wide color gamut that covers 100 percent sRGB and 95 percent DCI-P3 thanks to the use of a Quantum Dot coating. It is also equipped with a Quantum Dot coating. Both NVIDIA and AMD systems are capable of supporting a high refresh rate of 144Hz, which is made possible by adaptive-sync for VRR technology. This is made feasible by the introduction of a Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) backlight setting, which allows for 1ms MPRT performance.

Because of the enormous screen size, the stand only provides a basic tilt adjustment; however, it can be removed to allow for VESA mounting of 200 x 100mm if necessary. When it comes to connectivity, there are two DisplayPort 1.4 (one with DSC) and two HDMI 2.1 ports, which provide excellent compatibility for recent gaming consoles as well. It also comes with 4x USB 3.0 connections as well as a headphone connector, and the screen features 2x 7W integrated speakers as well as support for PiP and Pbp video formats. The AOC G4309VX/D is certified to the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 standard, and it has a peak brightness of 1100 cd/m2, as well as the color enhancements required for this level, which include a wide color gamut covering 95 percent of the DCI-P3 space and a 10-bit (8-bit+FRC) color depth. The AOC G4309VX/D has a peak brightness of 1100 cd/m2, as well as the However, while the VA technology panel provides a strong basis for high contrast (4000:1 static contrast ratio), the screen only has basic edge-lit local dimming to boost dynamic range, so don't expect any miracles in that department.
The G4309VX/D is now featured on AOC's China website, but it is unclear whether or not it will be accessible in other locations such as the United States or the United Kingdom. More information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
