We mentioned this C3583FQ 35 inch panel before, AOC finally made the annoncement and specs did change albeit a bit. Though it is MVA panel in 21:9 format, it does come with a 35"curved panel that does 160Hz at a native 2560x1080 pixels.

This AMD FreeSync compatible model uses the same high refresh rate AMVA panel from AU Optronics at a 160Hz refresh rate. The specs mention the FreeSync range of this model is 48 – 146Hz. Luckily there now is LFC (Low Framerate Compensation) to help smooth out the experience below that.  The C3583FQ does come with a relatively low 2560 x 1080 resolution resulting into large pixel pitch (79.39 PPI). Not super for desktop usage, but for gaming at least you will not need the massive horsepower of an ultra HD capable graphics card. The screen has a 4ms G2G response time, 2000:1 contrast ratio (VA panel), 300 cd/m2 brightness and 178/178 viewing angles.

  • Size 35"
  • Resolution 2560x1080@160Hz
  • Inputs D-Sub , DVI , HDMI , MHL
  • Response time 4 ms
  • Features Plug and Play, i-Menu

OSD control buttons and much of the internal electronics for the monitor are integrated into the stand base, VESA mounting is not an option. The included stand is tilt-only. True 8-bit colour is supported, without dithering, and a flicker-free WLED backlight is used for comprehensive sRGB colour space coverage and 300 cd/m² typical maximum luminance output. Note that the ports and many assistive electronics for the monitor are integrated into the stand base, so VESA mounting is not an option.

The ports include; Dual-Link DVI, 2 HDMI 1.4 ports (with MHL), 2 DP 1.2a+ ports (with Adaptive-Sync), 3.5mm audio input and 3.5mm audio output. Two rear-facing 5W speakers are also included.

The product is to cost 700 EURO.
