AOC AG241QG and AG241QX 24-ich 144Hz WQHD Monitors

AOC is now offering the AG241QG and AG241QX. The monitors have a 23.8” panel with a native WQHD resolution. Both fall in the new AGON gaming line-up. The ‘QX’ model has a 30 – 144Hz variable refresh rate range with Adaptive-Sync (FreeSync). The ‘QG’ model has a wider 30 – 165Hz variable refresh rate range with G-SYNC support.

We posted about these monitors before, but now have finalized specifications, and they are actually available starting this week. Both monitors obviously are TN based and come with a 1000:1 static contrast ratio and support for 8-bit colour based on a 1ms grey to grey response time. The ‘QX’ model features ‘Low Blue Light’ settings, the ‘QG’ model offers ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur) as an Nvidia-specific feature. Both models support 100 x 100mm VESA mounting.

Output connectors include DisplayPort 1.2 (supporting either G-SYNC or Adaptive-Sync for the ‘QG’ and ‘QX’,), HDMI, a 3.5mm headphone jack and 4 USB 3.0 ports. HDMI is MHL-compatible for the ‘QX’ model and there is also an additional DVI port on that one. There are integrated speakers – 2W for the ‘QG’ model and 3W for the ‘QX’ model.

The QG model should just over 500 Euro/usd and the QX model roughly 100 bucks cheaper.

NOW these are real usable ranges!

It could be a good solution for a not very expensive 3 monitors setup.

As a single monitor is too small for my taste, i would like to see them selling a 21:9 34' monitor with 30-100 usable range.

There is only 1 34 inch with 100HZ Gysnc and its exspensive and Gsync.

LG has a few 100hz freesync 21:9 coming out. One is 38 inch.

My 29inch LG 21:9 at least does 80hz.
It does 32-80hz freesync range. Under 32, and it artifacts and blacks out.

I actually gave up my triple setup up for a single ultrawide.

Why, why does it not have an IPS panel like its bigger brother AG271QG?

It can have 1000Hz plus many other extra features.
But I never buy TN pannel again :D
If I like fast monitor for gamming I go for proffessional CRT's.
