Hah, intersting compilation video. This comparison shows differences inbetween E3 demos and the retail version of recent Ubisoft games.

I encourage you to not only focus on textures or lighting, but also on animation, level design, assets, physics, and sound. Recorded in 1080p at max settings on PC with a controller. Check it out:

PR/Marketing is just legalised deceit and lying!

How many times do you see TV adverts for games that just sell them on cutscenes alone and not actual gameplay? Same for mobile crap, they make a film quality CGI advert to sell a mobile game that can't possibly play like the advert but is 'FREE' to download but always has some form of 'block' to stop you playing further unless you PAY via 'in app purchases' hidden in the very small print in the advert!!

I still have a copy of Unchartered 2 on PS3 (won the PS3 in a competition, would never have bought one otherwise) and the advert at the time 'vs' the actual game just looked like the 'downgrade' video in the first post! The PS3 was connected to a DELL Ultrasharp 1920x1200 monitor via HDMI and the game looked garbage compared to the advert, many years later we find out why! So it's not a 'new' thing as people have said, Unchartered 2 was released in October 2009 for the PS3, so nearly 7 years worth of deceit and lying!!
