An AMD FX 670K Quad Core Processor Surfaces
Very interesting, a photo of a screenshot on a monitor of an AMD FX 670K Quad Core Processor surfaced on the web. Apparantly is is a CPU that is being distributed in PCs from HP. The AMD FX-670K is found int heir Pavilion 500-266ea desktops.Basically this FX CPU is a "Richland" APU with its integrated GPU disabled.
The FX-670K comes with a processor clock speeds of up to 3.70 GHz. This all is a bit of a mystery considering the specs. Perhaps the truth is to be found in the "K" extension as the FX-670K comes with an unlocked base-clock multiplier.
The HP Pavilion 500-266ea features a socket FM2 motherboard based on the AMD A75 chipset, and discrete AMD Radeon R7 240 graphics. It's priced at CA $650.
Update, an author of an AMD FX-670K just submitted a proper screenshot, thanks Randylahey!

Aww, and I was hoping for a Vishera successor... disappointed, again.

Do you know for how long have I had a Phenom II? It's a 2009 CPU. I think the time for something that would be a notable upgrade was years ago, not "eventually maybe sometime during this millennium"... I've wanted to upgrade for at least 2 years.
