Amped Wireless High Power AC2600 Wi-Fi Range Extender

Amped Wireless High Power AC2600 Wi-Fi Range Extender

Amped Wireless is now offering a High Power AC2600 Wi-Fi Range Extender with MU-MIMO, the ATHENA-EX. This Extender is capable of enhancing the performance of any router by delivering up to 15,000 sq ft of blazing fast, additional coverage.

Multiple users will now be able to stream, download and surf from the furthest reaches of a home or office without their devices battling for bandwidth. The ATHENA-EX is the most powerful range extender available today and is designed for multi-device environments. Built with a powerful Dual-Core Processor, 16 high power amplifiers, and 4 high gain antennas, the ATHENA-EX expands the range of any standard Wi-Fi router by repeating the signal and pushing that extended signal out to cover a new, larger area with reliable Wi-Fi. Incredibly fast AC2600 Wi-Fi provides up to 2.53 Gbps, making lag and buffering nightmares of the past. With the power, coverage and bandwidth of this Extender, everyone can stream, download and play at once - on all of their devices.

The ATHENA-EX is also one of the first Wi-Fi extenders built with Multi-User MIMO technology. Traditional extenders stream data to just one device at a time, leaving the rest of the devices to wait their turn which results in slower downloads and video buffering. With MU-MIMO, the ATHENA-EX is able to stream HD content at faster speeds to multiple devices at once, delivering increased speeds for homes with multiple devices. Pair that with Amped Wireless' award winning High Power Technology, the ATHENA-EX delivers unparalleled connection reliability, coverage and performance. Every smartphone, tablet, computer and TV can connect from virtually anywhere in the home or office. It is the solution for whole-home, reliable Wi-Fi.

The Extender also houses four gigabit wired ports to bridge in any wired network devices like printers, PCs and gaming consoles. And two USB storage ports allow for fast file sharing within the network. Setting up the ATHENA-EX is a simple process and can be done with just a tablet or smartphone. The extender also features a Signal Strength LED to help determine the perfect location in the home or office for optimal signal boosting.

The ATHENA-EX is available for pre-order now on this page for $219.99. It will begin shipping to customers on April 12th and will be available at major online and brick and mortar retailers in the next few weeks.
