Seems that AMD is prepping their AMD 890GX chipset for a release next week. the new motherboards will carry support for their upcoming six-core processors and will have native SATA3 (6G) through their Southbridge chip.
The motherboards will be compatible with AM3 processors and will feature a derivative ATI Radeon HD 42xx integrated graphics chipset, which has support for DirectX 10.1.
AMD is also reportedly planning on releasing two platforms without integrated graphics capabilities, namely the high-end 890FX and the mainstream 870 later in April.
