AMD Sponsor of Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 Team This Year
Scuderia Ferrari revealed its F1 car for the new 2018 season; the SF71H shines all bright and not surprisingly, in Ferrari red. The PC aficionado might have noticed something at the lower nose-cone of the of the car, there is an AMD logo present.
So it looks like it that Team Scuderia Ferrari will be using AMD powered laptops and what not. Further details of the renewed cooperation are as yet unknown or not shared. Other than the logo visually there on the card, no information was shared, neither have either of the parties issues a press release.

I wish F1 was more popular in the US..... As it is, I have to search for Youtube videos to see any F1 races. None of the cable channels I get ever shows F1 when I'm awake, unless I end up being awake all night like tonight....
Where is AMD getting the money to sponsor an F1 car? Have their profits increased that much already?
They are a part sponsor. Other businesses also sponsor and get a little area on the racecar to put their name or logo on.
