AMD just posted a tweet where it announced the announcement date of the Radeon RX 6700 (XT) announcement. Aren't you also getting tired of all the pre-announcement announcements? Well, the good thing is though, it came with a photo.

The event is called 'Where Gaming Begins Episode: 3' meaning this is the 3rd iteration of the Radeon RX 6000 series launches, AMD is expected to announce RX 6700XT but could also do a double whammy with a possible RX 6700 non-XT. So will not be much longer before AMD 'announces' their NAVI 22 XL GPU-based graphics cards. We're not 100% sure yet if a non-XT model will be released as well; however, the XT seems to be a sure thing being announced on the 3rd, and we kinda expect the actual launch on March 18th.

Navi22 will get baptized with 12 GB of GDDR6 graphics memory; Radeon RX 6700 XT would be based on a NAVI 22 XT GPU, very likely 40 CUs/2560 shader processors. The memory should total 12 GB at 192 bits. For the RX 6700, the same chip, yet reconfigured, used would be NAVI 22 XL here, the specs are a bit more of a grey area, but rumor has it that this model gets only 6 GB of VRAM.

And look at Su, yep the card was sitting to her right on the background screen alright.
