AMD Silently Injects Radeon RX 560

While there is nothing secret about the Radeon RX 560, the card actually wasn't officially launched just yet. In fact most webshops still have the card on pre-order. The Radeon RX 560 page on AMD just went live though, indicating the official launch and after today, availability.

The Radeon RX 560 will get 16 compute units x 64 shader processor  = 1024 shader processors. These will be tied towards 16 ROPs and 64 texture units. The GPU count is 3 Billion transistors. These cards will make use of either 2GB / 4GB GDDR5 memory tied towards a 128-bit wide but clocked at 7.00 Gbps. The cards will get a base frequency up-to 1175 MHz and a Boost frequency up-to 1275 MHz.

The Radeon RX 560 has a 80 Watt TDP.

The 560 looks like a nice little budget card, but it should be $100 for the 4gb, and say maybe $80-$90 for the 2gb.
