AMD Ryzen ZEN3 architecture not delayed, still to be released in 2020 says AMD
This week there has been a report from Digitimes that Ryzen ZEN3 based processors would be moved towards 2021. I am currenty in a conference call with AMD, they are denying that rumor.
We can be short and blunt about this, ZEN3 aka Vermeer is still on track for a 2020 release. This is confirmed with AMD, and info which we're allowed to share. So yeah, Digitimes had it wrong for a change. it's good to hear AMD confirming this.

Waiting until Zen 4 only makes sense if you're on something particularly recent. DDR5 in the consumer market is planned for 2022, and as such is when Zen 4 should be expected. I'd imagine 2021 will be filled with the complete Ryzen 4000 lineup, and APUs. Perhaps another refresh.

I have him blocked. Cant not stand him. So no Idea what the idiot is saying. But I can imagine him dribbling on about how some 100mhz isnt worth it think every person is a moron and gonna upgrade their 3800x for a 3800xt.
Anyone on say a 1800x/2700x the 3800xt would be an upgrade.
And honestly I am thinking about getting one.
I can't believe I'm saying this but... I agree with almost everything @jwb1 is saying here.

Well if you gonna try to prove someone wrong, at least make a video where you can sustain at least 4600Mhz not 4450Mhz while PC gaming.
Example: I was playing with the RTSS overlay editor and recorded some PC gameplay on my 3800X.
Shows all cores hitting the 4600Mhz mark with PBO On. Now cores will not be sustained because the way Ryzen CPU's work and they do not need to sustain those clocks while PC gaming for max performance.
Now I do not think I will be buying any XT model now,it was really disappointing with the numbers revealed on the XT models, but will be buying Zen 3 for sure.
