AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 39x5 WX lineup Leaks in Full

You can leave it up to Videocardz to dig up the nitty-gritty, Veni Vidi Vici, Meet the Threadripper PRO lineup. it seems that AMD is expanding the default threadripper line towards a PRO series, in a small office home office space.

This week we've already shown you a leek of the 3995WX Threadripper, 64 cores and up-to 2 TB ECC memory support at memory 8-channels. Well, there's more. The PRO version backs 128 PCIe 4.0 lanes (64 normally); up to 2 TB of ECC memory support over an 8-channel configuration (4-channel normally); as well as professional-oriented tools and features such as Pro Security, Pro manageability, and PRO business ready support.

AMD will release four SKUs, thus four new PRO series Threadripper CPUs

  • 64-core 3995WX
  • 32-core 3975WX 100-200 MHz lower clocks compared to their non-PRO models.
  • 16-core 3955WX
  • 12-core 3945WX

The PRO series is expected to be announced on July the 14th. Check'r out below.

You gotta first wait to see the motherboard selection, in order to pick your choice.

Bad Ass.... I won't be needing an upgrade for some time, but I might get my hands on Gigabytes finer offerings for this Pro lineup.

Always seems to be the main factor in building late into a life cycle of a particular set of hardware. The motherboard of your choice (especially higher end) have all been bought up. Only to be placed on sale for a disturbing mark up altogether.

I like to buy even if it is for a "just in case" kind of time. Served me well on my Aorus Xtreme tRX40 board purchase at the time.

Hopefully Gigabyte is on fire this go'round once again.

At this point, the only reason I could see going for Epyc is dual-socket motherboards.
