AMD Ryzen Price Level Back to Normal
For the past weeks, you guys have been able to enjoy the massive price reduction on AMD's Ryzen series processors. We checked out a thing or two, and this really was a two-week promotion.
So AMD dropped prices to their distributors significantly, and this was all established a week prior to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Example, you have been able to purchase an 8-core flagship Ryzen 7 1800X processor (normally €499) for roughly €320 euros. Information already indicated that the discounts would last until December 2nd, after some checking, that was correct. If we look at the EU results, the prices are now back to the normal levels.
Below you can see a plot for the recent Ryzen 7 1800X price development. It was good while it lasted alright!

Different processors had different discounts. Plus, from country to country the price drops differ (if any drop at all).
Throughout all of this, i didnt see 1600/1600x prices drop and are still the same at approx 195€/220€ respectively which is luckily for me the CPU ill be gettiing

It was nice of AMD to lower the prices, if only for a while, but I'm still holding of for Ryzen 2 (if it's any good...) or whatever Intel manage to squeeze out in the same time frame.

also holding off for Ryzen 2, it doesn't need to beat Intel for me just be reasonably comparable and not Intel.. they've milked the market long enough!
