AMD Ryzen CPU Photos Surface

AMD Ryzen CPU Photos Surface

Gotta love the vibe, check the photos after the break. It seems that an OEM or something leaked photos of multiple 12-unit trays of AMD Ryzen processors.

If you look at the photos (courtesy of videocardz) you can see "Ryzen" laser etched onto the heatspreaders (IHS). The processors are showing several products codes so there definitely will be some choices at launch alright. Well it's just pretty pictures of course, have a peek.

Yeah it seems AMD is on a roll, this will be a big launch.

I think i´ve read somewhere that Intel has some type of patent or legal rights regarding the cpu socket design and they don´t want to share them with AMD... But i really don´t know if this is true.

Anyway i just want one thing from AMD: the 1600X, or 1500 if the 1600 is too expensive, and i want it now!!!
So give it to me AMD and i will gladly change to the dark side!

Was always under the impression Intel/Nvidia were the dark side?

In reallity they are but AMD also has a dark side that started with Phenom and their Black Edition cpus...

It´s funny but in a way Intel and Nvidia appear to be the good ones but in reality they are the bad ones and AMD is the other way around, they look bad and dark but they are actually the good ones! Like so many things in life that appear to be something and are the opposite.

Straight long pins of AMD cpus kinda scares me.

Stupid question, but why they don't design more flat design like Intel CPU?

Cheaper boards

I don't think any of them are good or bad. Anyone that buys into that mentality would definitely fall into the fanboy population. They are companies that's soul purpose is to make money. Don't think for a minute that if AMD were in the technology lead and Nvidia and Intel were playing "catch up" that AMD would not be running your wallet through the ringer.

Are they going to have the (Ryzen) writing on them like that??? I think it looks really cool if they keep em like that!
