AMD Ryzen 9 3800X and other 7nm Procs Surface at Russian Etailer
As we gear up for CES announcements, we do expect to hear a thing or two from AMD. Interestingly enough on a Russian etailer website Series 3000 procs have surfaced, including a Ryzen 9 3800X, yes Zen2.
We, however, do expect announcements and nothing else as AMD did not organize a press day for briefings. So before I continue with this, this round I need to shout out loud, DISCLAIMER, this info could be fake as heck. But this is what the lineup would look like if we are to believe e-katalog:

E-Katalog is listing Ryzen 7, Ryzen 5 and 3 series and a Ryzen 9 3800X would feature 16 cores and 32 threads, twice as many as current Ryzen 7 2700X mainstream flagship. The CPU is listed with 125W TDP, which is 20W more than 2700X. Have a peek at the screengrabs below from Russia based E-Katalog via Videocardz.

Would my B350M motherboard be at any disadvantage if i chose to put a 3800X chip in it ? I know its the last supported chip on the AM4 platform . I'd like to max it out and then retire.

The 6 core part speeds make me a little sad. I've no need to go any higher than 6 cores as I only game on my PC but I need to replace my 1600x because I lost the silicon lottery hardcore with it and the 2600X isn't quite a good enough reason yet. I hope it's not going to be that slow.

If they've managed to increase game performace by at least 10-15% this could really shake the market

IF this is true, then 3600X seems like the the clear winner to me. 4.8GHz boost on 8C/16T with 95W TDP is just insane for "middle of the stack" CPU. But yeah, let's wait and see if it comes true.
