The first end-users (at least we think they are) are getting their hands on an AMD Ryzen 5 600X, some have taken photos and posted the first test results. And yeah, that's not looking bad alright.

We've seen some PassMark leaks already, but not a CPU-Z one. The hexacore proc is the slowest clocked one of the four processors that have been announced, yet it still takes a healthful lead with 643 points for the single thread score and 4814 for multi-threaded performance. To compare a bit, a Core i6 10600K scores 543 points on a single thread and 4055 in multi-threaded mode.

The Ryzen CPU has six of Zen 3 cores with 12 threads, paired with 32 MB of level three (L3) cache. The proc is clocked at 3.7 GHz base frequency, while the boost speeds are reaching 4.6 GHz.
