The race for DRAM DDR4 memory frequency, has become a little, well awkward? But hey, if you want to, you can run 5600 MHz DDR4 modules on an APU series that is released later today, Renoir, aka Ryzen 4000.

What you'll notice with the release is support for memories above a whopping 5000 MHz. We know as a test popped up showing the Ryzen 7 4700G using 5600MHz memories. The kit used was Crucial's new 5100MHz C19 kit, which can boot that frequency with XMP. Examiners from Benchlife decided to overclock the kit and see how far we came, reaching 5600MHz C20, an awesome result. It will be interesting to see how much overclockers get when they get their hands on this new CPU series, but as to the necessity of it, well there isn't any as such frequencies have no relevancy to end-users and consumers.
