AMD Ryzen 4.2 GHz Processor entry surfaces at Taobao with 28th Feb Availibility
If you visit taobao.com through this link you will notice an entry for Ryzen. Taobao is a Chinese online shopping website similar to eBay, Amazon and owned by the Alibaba Group. The AMD Ryzen processor is listed at 4.2 GHz, other then that few details are given in relation to specs.
What however is interesting is an availbility date on the 28th or February alongside a ¥ 1999.00 pricetag, which translates to 275 euro and 290 USD. The chip is listed at 14nm and yes, that 4.2 GHz turbo clock frequency is mighty interesting, as it does seem 200 Mhz higher then expected.
This entry was spotted by Reddit user eric98k, the original source. The shop on taobau listing this is called AMD Shanghai. Make of the entry what you want, it could very well be fake or a bit of a pun of course. Most likely though that shop owner is simply loving the traffic to his shop. You can check the entry yourself here (google translated).

If the 8 core Ryzen really have a turbo clock of 4.2 Ghz then its base clock should probably in the range of 3.6 - 3.8 Ghz which is a pretty impressive achievement for an 8 core CPU.

Or maybe its a 6core variant.
One early leaked chart showed 250$ for 6core, I doubt 8Core will be just 275€.

Obvious trick: there is no mention of a designation of the CPU (it's "real name") - you cannot purchase a CPU for which you only know how many GHz it runs on, right? You cannot make a purchase from a shop asking an "Intel-made CPU that runs on 3.8GHz" to be delivered to your home etc.
