AMD RX 460 Polaris 11 GPU (Baffin) shows itself
Some photos of a Sapphire Radeon RX 460 Dual-X have been posted on the web, the card was disassembled and as such you can have a peek at AMD Polaris 11 aka the Baffin GPU.
Baffin is the Polaris 11 made on 14nm. These product are intended for entry level and come with a 128-bit wide GDDR5 memory bus. The card use less than 75 Watts as they do not come with a power connector, also a fun fact is that they are tied to a PCI-Express 3.0 x8 host interface and not X16. so you can use it in a x16 slot is using just x8 (which is still plenty enough for the SKU series. The photo show the Sapphire with Dual-X cooling, and it's looking good for something entry-level.

yeah i am pissed off cos i have to look even harder now for a short card to fit in my case.
calling it like i see it.
But of course this is the only model of RX 460 that will be sold.
And in the second image you can see the entire aft section of the card almost completely devoid of components. All this courtesy of AMD and Sapphire to piss you off.
Lisa Su says no short card for you

Marketing. To those that don't know any better, this card might look good cause of size.
To those actually looking for a small card, they'll get to sell that card for more money since "it's more of a niche product".
