AMD released its quarterly financial results, and their revenue stream has increased by 19%, thanks to increased sales in Ryzen processors and a high demand for Radeon graphics cards.

AMD still made a loss, though that is now limited towards 16 million USD. The increased revenues led towards a total quarterly revenue of 1.22 Billion USD, and for the upcoming quarter AMD expects  that the results will be 23% higher compared to the previous quarter. The prognosis for the entire year is an increase of overall 15% in revenue. It's not just the increasing sales of Ryzen processors responsible for the improved results, obviously AMDs Radeon segment did well, very likely due to the incredible high demand of Polaris GPUs thanks to the Crypto-currency mining craze.

For the rest of the year AMD expects improved results with Ryzen Threadripper, Ryzen Pro and mobile Ryzen chips for laptops taking a lead. AMD also has high expectation for their new Epyc server platform.
