AMD RAMP refurbished to EXPO

AMD may be working on a new way to make memory modules run faster, but we don't know yet. Rumor has it that AMD EXPO will be the new name for RAMP (Ryzen Accelerated Memory Profile), which came out a while ago. Expo will be the equivalent of Intel's XMP 3.0

EXPO will be able to store two profiles for memory overclocking (DDR5). AMD has taken a different approach than XMP. The first profile is for high-bandwidth settings, and the second is for low-latency settings. There is no second profile, which makes sense because not all memory modules can do low-latency. EXPO is also said to be able to work with all types of memory modules, so it might also show up in SO-DIMM modules for laptops in the future, as well.
