Just checked, the archives not only have the same name (apart from capitilisation), but they are bit identical. This means the contents has to be bit identical, no exceptions
. I'm guessing maybe they implemented a last minute fix and made it a hotfix, but since the 16.5.1 hadn't been published (the website prepared but not been put live) they simply ended up making it 16.5.1.
In any case, the driver version (for both obviously since they are bit identical) is:
DriverVer=04/29/2016, 16.150.2401.1002
16.5.1 Hotfix
Driver dated May, 3rd. Released May 4th.

Can you run
https://github.com/GameTechDev/PresentMon/releases
with the
-process_name Forza.exe(or whatever the exe is called) command line
and post the csv?
Would be interesting to see how it performs.
Dont quite know how to use it.
Reading up how to though.
Ill test with Project Cars or NFS 2016 to get an idea of how this works.
My native res is 2560x1080 @ 75hz, but 95% of the time I downsample to 3360x1440@60
Beta isnt out yet, so I will test that when it drops tomorrow.
Tell us how it runs when you do it.
Sure will.
Since they recommend a Fury X for 4k, it should run good on high or ultra on my setup.

Not sure if these would do anything for my 290, so I'm going to play Forza for a while on 16.4.1's to see how it does maxed out at 1080p. If it seems underwhelming I will give these a try and report back.

Thanks!
Where is my Doom driver?
I'm not sure Doom really needs a driver, and probably neither Forza needed. The "fixes" seem to be memory management changes for the title for the Fury.
