AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary Edition also available in the EU

A week or so ago it was mentioned that the Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary Edition would only be avail;able in the USA and certain Asia based regions. That is partially incorrect. AMD plans to expand its own online shop. Also, orders from numerous European countries as well as Canada are to be accepted soon.

The Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary Edition AMD also brings the Navi-10 top model in a Anniversary Edition version on the market. However, the availability would initially be limited to the US. A company spokesperson for the availability of the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary Edition under the user name dprairie_AMD commented on Reddit. Currently, we plan to expand sales through our own online shop. Soon you should be able to order from many European countries on amd.com. Among the countries are also Germany and Austria. In North America, too, the availability will be extended to Canada.

dprairie_AMD341 - Hi all,

Friendly reminder that just because someone writes it doesn't mean it is true....

We will be expanding AMD.com sales to more countries, so we expect the 50th anniversary edition will also be available in: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

Sorry we are not offering global availability at this point. We hear you on the desire. The team is focused on expanding into more regions/countries while making sure we can fully support customers.

AMD selling directly at EU market, would cull all the price gouging we might see, like Nvidia did with Maxwel & Pascal.
(With Turing Nvidia gouging their FE prices by $100, pushing higher the other products)
