AMD Radeon R9 290 starts listing in price search engines
AMD should be releasing the AMD Radeon R9 290 non X model by tomorrow. The price is still unknown but everybody was expecting this product to be sub 500 EUR. EU based price search engine Geizhals now is listing the product for as low as 475 EUR (incl VAT). Meaning that in the end you may expect a more typical 449 EUR price tag. Perhaps even lower.
Meanwhile Geihals also is listing some specifications and clock frequencies on the product. It's un German, but I'm sure you'll understand it:

the 290x is 550 euro in germany. hardware prices are calculated at a 1:1 exchange rate. that tends to be the case for most of continental europe afaik.

That's $607-$776. How's that supposed to sell when the 290X is $550...

fist listing has come up on one of Australia's IT stores and is said to be in stock (XFX branded). $25 difference between it and lowest priced 290X. Though XFX in Aus the one of the more expensive brands. and the 290x (PowerColor) is the cheapest branded here. so id expect a defference closer to $75 for the majority. And this store is one of the more expensive IT stores.
