AMD Radeon Pro Duo Available April 26th for 1695 euro

AMD Radeon Pro Duo Available April 26th for 1695 euro

A Spanish website has published photos of the XFX AMD Radeon Pro Duo, XFX always has had a bit of a problem keeping NDA actually under covers, it seems. The website claims that the dual-FIJI card would get a GPU clock frequency of 1000 MHz.

AMD introduced it's Radeon Pro Duo last month  but ever since has not revealed any real specifications. The base-clock would be 1000 MHz, slightly slower opposed to the Fury X at 1050 MHz. The HBM memory is running reference at 500 MHz as well. The card will get a full 8192 stream processors, 512 texture memory units and 128 rops and is sized 281x116,5x42mm.

It is based upon a 120mm radiator cooling wise. Monitor connectivity wise you can expect three Displayport 1.2 connectors and a HDMI 1.4a port.
AMD initially stated a price-tag of 1499 USD, according to the new info it's going to be 1695 euro with sales starting at April 26th.

Expect a low volume release with few cards available, likely since Polaris is just around the corner and well, two Nano of Fury (X) cards might even be a more viable solution money wise. Below (clock the thumbnails) some photos of that XFX Radeon Pro Duo card.

I think it will have a very short market life. Even those who can afford to buy it may refrain from doing so out of fear of embarrassment... of appearing as clueless in what to do with their money when there are clearly better existing alternatives let alone whats in the pipeline.

You could say the same about Mercedes, but if that were true they'd be out of business by now.

This gpu is too late and too expensive to make any sense but I must say this thing is probably a beast even if it only has 4gb

Totally agree with what you said , too late to the party and only 4GB is the achilles ' heel of this beast. nonetheless very powerfull.
