AMD Radeon HD 6970 Photo's Surface

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 11/06/2010 05:22 PM | source: | 0 comment(s)

As always, an Asian website released some unofficial photo's of a card that seems to be the AMD Radeon HD 6970, the card with the GPU known as Cayman.

The card is quite big as it seems, likely 11" from what I can estimate, and it has to be the 6970, not 69900 because the backside shows just one GPU mounted. Interestingly enough when you look at the power connectors you'll spot an 8-pin and 6pin PEG PCie power connector.

Anyway, very little else can be said here really, click the thumbnails to see the full photo's, courtesy of zol.com.cn
