AMD Phenom II X6 T1090 BE overclocked to 6292.46MHz

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 04/16/2010 09:08 AM | source: | 0 comment(s)

An overclocker named Luca has managed to overclock AMD's upcoming six-core Phenom II X6 T1090 BE processor to 6292.46MHz.
The 1090T is stock clocked at 3.2GHz and LN2 cooling was used to keep the processor nicely chilled down. Luca used an Asrock 890GX board and 1GB of Kingston memory to pull off this impressive feat.
