AMD issued a price reduction of up to $100 on two of its high-performance gaming CPUs, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and Ryzen 9 7900X3D, now available at $599.99 and $549.99, respectively, on their official store.
The timing of these discounts coincides with the recent launch of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, priced at $449, which offers superior raw gaming performance compared to the more expensive Ryzen 9 7950X3D and 7900X3D.
These discounts will make the Ryzen 9 7950X3D an attractive option for power users and professionals who use their machines for work and gaming. Although the Ryzen 9 7950X still offers faster raw compute performance due to its higher clock speeds, the price difference has now disappeared. Additionally, the Ryzen 9 7900X3D, previously priced at $599.99, is now available for $549.99, positioning it $100 above the vanilla Ryzen 9 7900X, currently priced at $449.99 (the same as the 7800X3D).
