AMD Dual Fiji videocard surfaces
The AMD Dual Fiji videocard was briefly shown during an E3 presentation and the Fiji introduction already, but after these two moments in the summer everything went silent. Aside from a few photos there are no details on this product.
As it seems now, the release of the Dual Fiji graphics card might still be this year as once again it revealed itself in the shipment info of an India based courier service. The code-name that was spotted is "Fiji Gemini", and we need to mention here that "Gemini" has been used by AMD before to indicate a dual-GPU product.
An origin country Canada, yep the homebase of AMD's ATI group. If we dig deeper into the shipping info we can read that the cooler is based on Cooler Master, and thus that would be much similar to the Liquid cooled version of the Fury X. The earlier photos however indicate two 8-pin PCI Express power connectors and thus an allowance up-to 375 Watt (which honestly is not bad).
These small bits of info do indicate that a launch could be imminent. And yeah a dual-GPU Fiji would have 8 GB HBM1 graphics memory with a whopping 8192 stream processors. Such a card would kick massive proverbial azzz.

Price 125,350 INR = 1,920.45 USD.
Reason I never bought GPU from India, where I live. Sometimes it even cheaper to buy from Newegg/Amazon international and get it shipped here. No warranty but much better price.
Hmm... I should buy a few nice graphics cards and have my brother sell them for me in India. He "commutes" from Southern Califormia to Nashik, India every other month while working for a company that develops drugs to fight cancer. Talk about a brutal amount of air travel. lol. each way is two 10 hour legs. Whats funny is he used to complain about flying to Atlanta every 2 weeks.
This last generation of GPU's from both brands are way too cheap for me, I'll be waiting for TPP to be approved and put in action for them to get even cheaper...
I actually just finished reading the summary of the finalized TPP agreement and there was no mention of consumer electronics. It talked about removing tariffs on industrial and agricultural products, as well as textiles and apparel. It said tariffs on cars and trucks will remain. Of course I can't be certain since Obama won't release the full text of the agreement. In fact, the actual text of this agreement won't be released for FOUR years! The only reason they'd do this is because it's another HORRIBLE deal negotiated by idiots (or are simply evil), much like the Iran nuclear deal.
