AMD cuts prices releases Radeon HD 6950 1GB

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 01/26/2011 01:23 PM | source: | 0 comment(s)

To compete with the yesterday's announced GeForce GTX 560 Ti from NVIDIA AMD releases the Radeon HD 6950 with 1GB GDDR5. Here's a little price update:

  • Radeon HD 6870 1GB: drops from $239 to $219
  • Radeon HD 6950 1GB: introduced for $259
  • Radeon HD 6950 2GB: drops from $299 to $269

These are seriously competitive prices. We have the 1 GB version in house yet have not had the time to test it, expect a full review early next week though.
