AMD Cedar Board Pictured

Guru3D.com ImageWith the launch of the Radeon HD 5650/5670 today barely even live the first photo's of the even lower level graphics card made under codename Cedar (RV810) already popped up.

These cards are not suitable for serious gaming whatsoever yet what might be great for a HTPC or Nettop card. Cedar will be launched as Radeon HD 5400 and 5500. Now here's the speculation, it makes sense for this product to have 200 shader processors, a 64-bit GDDR5/GDDR3 memory interface, and DirectX 11 compliance.

Below you can see two photo's courtesy of Arab HW which is showing a low profile card. Looks nice with the black PCB and petit cooler. The card has a DVI-D and DisplayPort connector and we expect prices to be below 60 USD really. All in due time when released of course.
