AMD Announces Ryzen PRO processors

AMD is announcing another tier of its business and enterprise processor portfolio with the release of Ryzen PRO desktop processors. Ryzen pro will become available after the summer with mobile parts in early 2018.



Ryzen PRO offers silicon-level security, providing hardware-based cryptographic and security technologies to help protect against an ever-growing number of threats, it delivers up to 52% improvement in compute capability over AMD’s previous PRO-level generation, plus up to 62% more multi-threaded performance on the Ryzen 7 PRO 1700 than select competing solutions.

Ryzen PRO lineup will initially be based upon these six processors (prices have not been announced just yet), the Ryzen Pro 3 series will ship at a later stage. Also note that the Ryzen 3 Pro series does not have SMT (simultaneous multithreading) enabled.:
