AMD Announces Ryzen 7800X3D, 7900X3D and 7950X3D
These might be the processors you've been waiting on as they will offer a perfect blend of proper single-threaded performance, excellent multi-threaded performance and, thanks to that X3D cache, increased game performance with bottle necked games and graphics cards.
No less than three Ryzen 7000 X3D models will feature 8, 12, and 16 cores, respectively. AMD announced them at CES 2023, even though the processors won't be available until February. The X3D processors come with the manufacturer's own 3D V-Cache stacked atop a CPU chiplet, in addition to the cache found in the Ryzen 7000 CPUs themselves. Therefore, the new CPUs feature an increased L3 cache size of 64 MB.
While the current Ryzen 7 5800X3D is still a top-tier CPU option for gamers, Ryzen 7000 X3D components stand to benefit even more from 3D V-Cache due to the possibility of increased bandwidth, thereby bolstering their performance in games, creation workloads and applications. Interestingly, AMD has launched three Ryzen 7000X3D models with 3D V-Cache, increasing the number of X3D CPUs for client PCs from one (in the case of the Ryzen 5000 family) to three (for the Ryzen 7000 series).

AMD released its Zen 4-based Ryzen 7000-series desktop processors in September 2022. They have excellent single-threaded performance (thanks partly to their ultra-high clock speeds), which means they can compete well against Intel's 12th and 13th-generation parts. AMD claims its Ryzen 7000X3D processors are 13–24% faster than Intel's Core i9-13900K in early benchmarks. The Ryzen 7800X3D, on the other hand, is 21-30% faster than the Ryzen 7 5800X3D across four AMD-tested games. The company also claims that the new processors outperform the previous Ryzen 7 5800X3D in creative workloads. The launch of the processors is scheduled for February. To date, AMD has not provided a recommended retail price or announced when their products would be available.

Great news , Ryzen 7xxx X3D is coming ...
It seems the 7800X3D will be the most afordable one but boost clocks are gone :/ ( 7800x3d boost clock 5.0Ghz / normal Ryzen 7700x boost clock is 5.4Ghz )

Yeah as said above. They want to push us into a crappier 7900X3D. 7900X3D will suffer the same latency penalties as the other dual CCD AMD parts do and have done in the past with gaming and some other scenarios. They prefer to sell us 1 broken 3 core CCD that can boost 5.6GHz and one broken 3 core CCD that's always the retard just like it was with 3900X, 5900X and 7900X..
And checking the slide against 5800X3D.. uphill battle still for the 7800X3D if they don't give it more clocks.
on top of that seeing the price list. 7800X3D is going to cost $499 ($50 more than last gen). Pretty sure of it. Ah well. AMD doing AMD things.
I will just wait it out with my 5800X3D until discounts come for AM4 X3D

Crappy what they did to the 7800X3D clocks ,even though a higher CPU clock would not help in PC Gaming anyway.Might still buy the 7800X3D unless the price is crazy high.

I like the look of the 7900X3D, ovs if there's a noticeable jump over my 5800X3D and UVing friendly.

AMD nerfed 7800X3D so hard to push the sale of the higher model.
7950X3D, @nizzen you seeing this, man?
