AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition gets RSR / Radeon Super Resolution
AMD has continued to enhance its expansive software suite, offering features that enable responsive, low-latency gameplay and high-fidelity visuals. The next release, expected to be available in Q1 2022, includes AMD Radeon Super Resolution (RSR), a new driver-based spatial upscaling technology. Built on the same algorithm as AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, RSR unleashes new levels of performance with near-native resolution gaming experiences in any game that runs in exclusive full screen mode on AMD RDNA-based and newer graphics.
RSR is based on the FSR technology; just at driver level and does not require game developer support. During AMD's CES presentation, the company uses the game Warframe to illustrate its point. RSR can upscale 1440p to 4k, and performance in that game will be 1.7x better than it would be in full-resolution 4k.
Additional features of the forthcoming AMD Software release include updates to the AMD Link application8(AMD Link 5.0), which allows users to play their PC games on a phone, tablet or Windows PC from virtually anywhere. AMD Privacy View technology, powered by Eyeware, is a new feature expected to be available in 1H 2022 that uses Eyeware’s cutting-edge head-and eye-tracking technology to deliver increased levels of privacy.

So 6500XT will be an overpriced RX580. Disappointing.

actually same "msrp"with the 480 4gb lunch .....6 years ago ... so even if it comes out in MSRP ...that would be the ultimate stagnation !
alas we are not even close to msrp actually meaning something .....

No only RDNA will use RSR...
Well in numbers is not much better them RX 580 but with a much better architecture and guarantied access to RSR free and driver side with huge boost in fps could be a good thing to 1080p(ish) gaming.
For the right price i'm guessing half of 6600xt? could be a huge thing on emerging countries and is not appealing for mining so we could actually find one to buy it lol.
