AMD and NVIDIA GPU pricing have returned to normal levels, if not lower.
What many gamers have been waiting for is finally happening, according to data provided by 3DCenter. NVIDIA and AMD GPU pricing have returned to normal, and we are at msrp. In some cases, the cards can be purchased for less than the MSRP.
We recently mentioned that AMD Radeon RX 6000 GPUs were only 5% more expensive than the MSRP. 3DCenter data shows that the costs of AMD Radeon RX 6000 and Nvidia Geforce RTX 30 cards are constantly dropping. While the Geforce RTX 30 versions are priced around 2% higher than the MSRP in US dollars and euros (euros), the Radeon RX 6000 can be obtained in the foreign market for between 6% and 8% less than the manufacturer's suggested price. The graph shows how GPU prices have plummeted. If the values were above 80% of the MSRP in December 2021, we have seen massive reductions of more than 80% in just 6 months. In the case of AMD, the Radeon RX 6500 XT costs 23% less than the suggested pricing in Europe. The release of the next generation of AMD and Nvidia GPUs could also help to heat up the market; we could see price reduction on the RX 6000 and RTX 30 series models, which could give a perfect opportunity to upgrade.

Yeah prices are not back to normal looking around the popular UK online retailers, Scan, CCL and Ebuyer. £880 for a TUF Gaming 3080 is WAY over what it launched at, which if memory serves me, was about 50 quid over the £650 FE card? Ventus model, which are fine tbf, are over 800, Ventus are usually around the same as stock cards so...things are not back to normal here.
Look for FE cards if you don't mind undervolting or tweaking power.

Prices are still high in many parts of the Europe especially the higher tier cards like 3080 and 6800xt still are in 900eur+ range for a cheapest models.
3070 and 6700xt are little above mrps, 550-600eur while 3060 and 6600xt are 350-450eur. AMD do has better deals and it is somewhat cheaper nvidia.
Saying everything has returned to normal is just silly unless this is the new norm.
