AMD alters Never Settle program with Battlefield 4 and Thief
AMD is tremendously excited about the game bundles heading in to the holiday season, especially because October 22 marked the first anniversary of the industry-changing Never Settle programs! It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year of giving the world’s best games to gamers with the purchase of an AMD Radeon graphics card.
Today I wanted to update you on where we’re going next with that story:
- First, if a gamer purchases any AMD Radeon R9 Seeries product starting 11/13, they will get a copy of Battlefield 4 with that purchase. As with any game bundle, buyers must first check availability, which they will easily be able to do at www.amd.com/battlefield4.
Battlefield 4 is a powerful title for AMD Radeon customers, because AMD and DICE collaborated quite closely over many months to optimize the code of that game for peak performance on Graphics Core Next. Further, the December patch to implement the Mantle API will deliver the unprecedented ability for the Frostbite 3 engine in Battlefield 4 to go close-to-metal for substantially improved performance. This is a first for the contemporary era of graphics, and it’s being ushered in by AMD at the direct request of game developers like DICE. The benefit to all of these development efforts is so significant that the architect behind Frostbite 3, Johan himself, will tell you that Radeon is the best GPU for the job with BF4 and any other Frostbite 3 title. - Next, we’re extending the Never Settle Forever bundle to the AMD Radeon R7 260X! This product will join the Radeon Rewards Silver tier, meaning the user can choose from two games free. Gamers will have to purchase from a participating retailer, of course, but that’s still just as easy as it’s always been: check availability at www.amd.com/neversettleforever. And the games they can choose from include: Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs, Sniper Elite V2, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon or DiRT 3 and one more!
THIEF is joining the Never Settle Forever program in the silver tier to coincide with the R7 260X’s introduction to the program! This is a great opportunity for R7 260X customers to get prepared with a game that leverages the most impressive features we’ve enabled in that product: AMD TrueAudio, Mantle, and more. That’s right, gamers can utilize whatever sound hardware they already have to get an incredible acoustic experience, and they’ll also get unmatched performance by firing up a Mantle-enabled game.
Below you will find a table that summarizes the bundles beginning November 13.

Why now only? I already purchased my card before 11/13
What BS.
There will always be something newer.

I bought a R9 series card when they launched.
So it has nothing to do with a newer card.

He never said it had anything to do with a new card. New bundles and offers are always put together. Hell, when I bought my Sapphire HD7950 Flex there wasn't a bundle. AMD quite literally launched the Never Settle bundle the day after. I was annoyed for sure, but the card was still worth it even without the games. If it hadn't been I'd not have purchased it in the first place.

Yeah.. exactly lol. I mean the games are just a bonus.. you buy the card for the card not for the game..
Hey Darkest man, you playing BF4 or anything? Thought we could play.. or something? XD
Btw sorry to hear that mr Yellow that also happened to me, although I don't think getting free games here in Estonia is possible rofl, as in.. whether it is available in the retailers (well there are some but.. rarely, and the AMD bundle was never in tbh.. if I recall correctly lol).
Anyways.. maybe you have some way of .. getting those games? Not sure? Just yeah, maybe your retailer is merciful or something.
