AMD Adds Radeon Software Adrenalin 20.5.1 with Graphics Hardware Scheduling Support

AMD has released a new Beta driver, ironically with the same version number Radeon Software Adrenalin 20.5.1 The new version adds Hardware Scheduling Support, which is a feature that only works with Windows 10 May 2020 Update (version 2004) or later. Please note ONLY Radeon RX 5600-series and RX 5700-series GPUs support the new feature.

It did confuse me a few days

last 3 driver sets have the same number pretty much and all named 20.5.1

I will say that the driver works well for bfV, i used to get stutters with unlocked high fps with high cpu usage and got major spikes all over

now its fine running 90% cpu

gpu usage drops a bit here and there but no spikes, good start if it can be improved further then great

"Please nite ONLY Radeon RX 5600-series and RX 5700-series GPUs support the new feature."

Most important to nOte. As if... Amd have become the same commercial douchebags pushing only their latest products and dropping the previous ones like they're utter crap.
And so they all will go out of business eventually.
Do you imply that they dropped RX 5500 series too?

It takes time. Im sure there will support for older and upcoming cards as well.
