Amazon Pushes Back the Release Date of New World Until September - that GPU Bricking Game

New World has received a great deal of attention as a result of the failure of various graphics cards while playing the closed beta. The game was initially set for May, but was subsequently postponed until August due to scheduling conflicts.

The game's makers have now said on Twitter that it will be published on September 28th as previously announced. Amazon Games, a gaming company that is a subsidiary of the tech behemoth Amazon, is working on the project. A massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in the 17th century, in which players are tasked with colonizing an island, is called Colonization. An example of this is the Open 3D Engine, which was developed through a cooperation between the Open 3D Foundation, which is sponsored by the Linux Foundation, and Amazon Games. This is one of the most technically intriguing elements of the game. New World is the first big game to use the open-source engine, and it is also the most ambitious.

I think the last thing I want is to give a company like Amazon permanent connection to my computer.

I've already given them access through my damn echo dots and light switches....

What more do they need from me?!? HAHAHAH....

And never knew that being a beta tester would entail I'm potentially killing my hardware by doing so.

I agree with you though.

I find Amazon Prime very convenient and I have no problem racking up more charges for their free overnight & 2nd-day Prime shipping each year... ;) They always send me a sad note congratulating me on getting more free shipping than the $120 annual Prime fee covers...well, a small victory, perhaps, but it makes me smile. Anyway, I like the business just fine and have no quarrel with it. But somehow "Amazon Gaming" doesn't have the right "ring" to it, if you know what I mean. Not impressed. However, they did give away Battlefield 1 & 5 recently, so I have them (through Origin) even if I'm not that big a fan.

Going to be interesting to see if a new MMORPG (is it a rpg as well?) has the stayingpower that some of the older titles still seem to have.
I recently started playing ESO after a long break and was honestly surprised at the amount of people I ran in to just about every time of the day.
