Introducing Luna, Amazon's cloud gaming service where it's easy to play great games on devices you already own. The new service will go into early access next month and will initially offer access to games such as Resident Evil 7, Control, Tacoma, Metro Exodus, and Overcooked 2 (Sega and 505 Games are the service's two major initial studios) for a price of $ 6. monthly.

Luna's interesting twist is that it will also offer, similar to Amazon's Prime Video, additional channel subscriptions with specific content. The first of them will be dedicated to Ubisoft and will offer access from day one to games such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6 and Immortals Fenyx Rising, although it is not known how much the Ubisoft channel will cost.

Games stream directly from the cloud to your screens. Experience gaming anywhere there's high-speed wifi. Luna is available on PC, Mac, Fire TV and web apps for iPhone and iPad. Play screen to screen without missing a step in your game with the Luna Controller. Explore action, adventure, platformer, indie, shooter, RPG, racing, and classic games from Ubisoft, Capcom, 505 Games, and Team 17 — and they'll be adding more.

The service will cost 5.99 USD a month. Luna's games will initially target 1080p / 60 FPS , although Amazon claims 4K / 60 FPS once the service is fully launched. You will need at least a 10 Mbps internet connection to play 1080p and 35 Mbps to play 4K. Amazon will also offer the Luna Joystick for $ 50, which communicates directly with cloud gaming, just like Google Stadia does. 

Luna will launch as early access in early October in the United States, and there is no date for a rollout in other parts of the world yet. Initially, it will be playable on PC, Mac, Amazon Fire TV, and iOS devices.
