All kinds of GeForce GTX 970 and 980 AIB cards show on the web
I bet Nvidia is not a happy puppy as from most board partners all product photo's are widely available on the web already. And its not hard to find them either, google a bit to find out yourself. After the fold a small overview.
So Gainward, Zotac, MSI and ASUS already shared their pictures apparently. All board partners offers the 970 and 980 with exotic coolers and custom designs. Opposed to other sites we will not list specs, but since the pictures are all over the web, here you go:

that would be ideal imo, sli and a dedi.
i since found out my mobo only has two pcie lanes so yeah, i do worry about the PhysX breaking the scaling, having two more beefier cards would be the way to go. ideally for me x2 970 8gb.
I see. The thing with the express lanes is one of the main reasons why I'll switch to x99 platform later this year

i'm quite happy as i still have some things to do with my rig, firstly i'm wondering if a platinum psu can OC components any better than bronze psu.
will be nice to see.

Well bronce and platinum is merely about efficiency, not about output. Actually, bronce and platinum PSUs should give out (as in, give your computer components like gpu and cpu) just about the same power, with marginal differences. The difference is rather about what it pulls out of the wall socket, I think.

Remember when we talked about dedicated physix cards, and how you might keep one of your's as a physix card and upgrade for two 960s for frames? Is that plan still an option for you?
Because I'm unsure of wheater I should go for two 980s and a dedicated physix card, and if so, which one should be the third (out of heat, nois, and price issues of course). Of course, we need to see the reviews of the Maxwells first...
that would be ideal imo, sli and a dedi.
