Aerocool announced today the new Dead Silence (DS-230) PC chassis to be exhibited at Gamescom. The new DS-230 inherits features from the DS-200, such as the elegant exterior design and the passive noise cancelling capabilities.

Aerocool will display the all new Dead Silence 230 chassis (DS-230) at the joint-exhibition booth with Caseking in Hall 8.1 booth location B051. Both gamers and media partners will be able to take a close look at these and other new products from Aerocool, which are exhibited at Europe’s most popular exhibition for games and hardware.

After the great success of the Dead Silence series with its DS Cube, DS 200, and the DS case fans, a new member joins the award winning high-end product line. Both side panels as well as the removable top-cover are equipped with two layers of noise cancelling materials. The chassis features a new LED illumination with seven colors and three lighting modes – always on, breathing or pulsating to choose from. The illumination is connected to the pre-installed PWM fan controller for six fans, which emits a different LED color for different fan speed ranges. Aerocool’s engineers have further enhanced the interior layout of the chassis, to use the space as efficiently as possible. The compartmentalized space for the power supply unit, hard drives and main components offers improved airflow and better cable management options. The chassis fits up to two 2.5-inch and three 3.5-inch drives, VGA cards with lengths of up to 413 mm and CPU coolers with height of up to 170 mm. Radiators of water-cooling systems can be mounted in the front or top area of the DS-230. Steady airflow is achieved by the pre-installed 120 mm PWM case fan in the front.
