AeroCool Cyclops and Cyclops Advanced Cases

Aerocool presents new value for money chassis for the entry-level market. The Cyclops and Cyclops Advanced midi-towers are part of the PGS-V series, which combines great features with a futuristic design. At times, where the gamer's demands are growing, Aerocool raises the bar for entry-level chassis once again by offering great amount of functions for a sweet-spot price.

Aerocool designed the Cyclops chassis in a futuristic style and offers gamers the choice between a red and a black version. The case is made of steel with 0,5 mm thickness to provide decent stability. In spite of the great value-for-money ratio, many technical advantages and features have been implemented. ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX Mainboards as well as VGA cards with a length of 390 millimeters can be fitted easily. CPU coolers with a total height of 155 mm are supported as well.

The mainboard-tray has been fitted with several openings, in order to allow neat cable management. In addition, a bigger opening has been prepared for easy mounting of backplate-based CPU coolers. Aerocool includes a removable dust filter for power supply units, an acrylic-window in the side-panel and a special adapter, allowing users to mount a fan or HDD into the exposed 3,5" bay. The Cyclops chassis comes with one pre-installed black 120 mm case fan with 1.200 RPM. In case of the "Advanced" version, another 120 mm case fan with red LED illumination is located in the front.

Up to two optical drives can be mounted in the 5,25 inch bays, located in the upper part of the case. Three 3,5 inch drives and one 2,5 inch drive fit into the HDD rack. One more 2,5 inch HDD or SSD can be installed on the rear side of the mainboard-tray. Connectivity is another important aspect, which is why a decent I/O panel can be found in the front panel, featuring two USB 2.0 ports, one microphone and one headphone jack. In case of the Cyclops Advanced, instead of two USB 2.0 ports, the faster USB 3.0 ports are implemented.

Aerocool's Cyclops and Cyclops Advanced chassis are available at etailers and retails starting this week. Suggested manufacturers price starts at 40,90 EUR in Europe and 45,90 $USD in USA (excl. Taxes).
