Act of Aggression Ships
I've been hearing good thigns about this game. Eugen Systems now offers Act of Aggression, their new real-time strategy game, which is available on Steam with a 15% launch discount. They also announce a day one patch with a couple of quick fixes.
Set in the near-future, Act of Aggression is an explosive techno-thriller real-time strategy game hailing from the Golden Era of RTS. With three global super-powers, there can be only one victory.
Across three distinct factions each armed with the greatest modern and prototype military weaponry, head into some of the world’s most volatile conflict zones, building bases for mass production, establishing resource supply lines, and waging war in Eugen Systems’ explosive RTS.
Build and manage the cogs of war in a return to strategic base-building, resource harvesting, and dynamic tech-trees. Capture banks and enemy soldiers to generate cash income. Upgrade units with specialization and unlock new skills. Embark on an epic single player Campaign with a thrilling original story, and fight throughout the world on realistic environments. Compete online in visceral PVP battles and become the best commander!
In a world facing ever-looming global instability, will you repel or engage in an Act of Aggression?

It's still in development stage things can change many times. Don't think about buying until it's completely finished, and then read/watch some reviews/videos, or you can try it for free if you know what i mean. I don't consider it a crime for evaluation purposes.
How does this game run for people? I noticed on my friends pc (i7 4790k sli 970) that it was only pulling around 40-50 fps. Sli is not supported but I would of thought a single card would be more than enough? It's putting me off buying it at the moment.

I agree! I did "evaluate" and after a bit of testing I found it was the shadow resolution setting that tanks FPS.
In light of that I purchased it and really enjoying it so far
Happy to hear =)

Where is the Linux Support.... Its 2015 already
I have a old PowerPC Mac set-up just so I could play the original Generals/Zero Hour. There hasn’t been to many RTS that play like that game since!

I'm RTS slave. And yeah, it does look like C&C Generals. But it's early release, they might ruin the game in the end, don't get your hopes up too high.
