Acer announced its Acer H6535i home entertainment projector is now available in the United States. This new model (3,500 ANSI lumens) offers wireless projection of movies, games and photos in Full HD to a big screen for an affordable price of $699.99 MSRP.

This DLP LED projector with HDMI input can project a giant 25 foot image from a distance of up to 36 feet with a high 3,500 lumens brightness. Paired with a wireless dongle2, it projects content wirelessly from a smartphone or PC. Miracast3 support allows quick and seamless screen mirroring without installing an extra app. HDMI, VGA and USB ports connect to Android3 devices for easily sharing travel photos or home videos.

“Priced affordably, our newest projector lets more people experience the thrill of enjoying movies and more on a big screen from the comfort of home,” said Ronald Lau, Acer America director – stationary products. “It’s bright enough for projecting content in ambient light and works wirelessly with a variety of devices.”

The 20,000:1 contrast ratio delivers vivid images. Even dark scenes are clearly displayed with no loss of detail thanks to DynamicBlack™ technology, which improves image contrast by analyzing on-screen content frame-by-frame, then dynamically adjusting lamp power to optimize black levels. A 1.2X zoom ratio maximizes positioning options for the projector, while four corner correction quickly and easily adjusts corners to eliminate distortion. Integrated ColorBoost3D technology features an optimized 6-segment color wheel, advanced lamp illumination and powerful image processing to deliver excellent color reproduction and saturation without sacrificing brightness. In addition, ColorSafe II prevents color decay even after thousands of hours of use. To help prevent eye fatigue, the Acer H6535i has Acer BlueLightShield, an adjustable filter to reduce blue light emissions up to 30 percent. It features three filter levels to accommodate different usage scenarios.

The Acer H6535i delivers a good return on investment with a long product lifespan of up to 10,000 hours in ECO mode4 and up to 15,000 hours in ExtremeECO mode. It’s also outfitted with a 2W speaker and comes with a remote control.5

The Acer H6535i home entertainment projector is available at online retailers in the United States for $699.99 (MSRP).
